Ranetki was a Russian music group, winner of the Five Stars contest and Eurosonic 2008, and recipient of two Muz-TV 2009 awards for Best Album and Best Soundtrack. The group was known for soundtracks to the series Kadetstvo, starred in its own STS television series in 2008-2009, filled major Moscow venues including Luzhniki and Olimpiysky, and opened for Britney Spears on July 21, 2009.
