Station information
On air at Makina from the Radio Caprice network - fast, melodic hardcore techno with roots in the Spanish club scene of the early 1990s. The station plays tracks built on hardtrance, bouncy techno and rave energy, with tempos usually moving between 150 and 180 BPM. Makina grew out of Valencia’s dance culture after the acid house explosion of the late 1980s and later became one of Spain’s defining electronic styles. Tracks by artists like Chimo Bayo helped push the genre across Europe, while its sound found a second life in the rave scenes of Northern England and Scotland. The playlist keeps that mix of euphoric synths, relentless rhythm and old-school club intensity alive.
