Station information
On air fast, bass-heavy jungle with a ragga edge and hardcore energy. Jungle/Ragga/Jungle Raggacore is part of the Radio Caprice network, focused on niche electronic genres. The station plays high-tempo breakbeats, deep sub-bass and reggae-influenced vocals, with a raw club-driven sound. Jungle grew from early 90s UK rave culture, combining hip-hop breakbeats with dub and reggae elements. Ragga jungle pushed this further with Jamaican vocals and dancehall rhythms. Raggacore takes it to a more aggressive level, faster, rougher, less predictable. Tracks often experiment with structure and distortion, but keep a strong rhythmic drive aimed at the dancefloor rather than pure abstraction.
