Station information
EBM is an online stream from Russia within the Radio Caprice network, focused on Electronic Body Music and related industrial styles. The playlist is built around hard sequenced basslines, mechanical rhythms and cold synth textures, keeping the sound direct, dance driven and slightly abrasive. The term EBM was introduced in 1984 by Front 242 to describe their blend of industrial energy and electronic beats. The station follows that lineage with classics and later evolutions - from Nitzer Ebb and Front Line Assembly to dark electro and techno industrial acts. Expect distorted vocals, rigid grooves and the darker edge of electronic music that shaped underground clubs in the late 80s and 90s.
