Station information
Part of the Radio Caprice network, this station is dedicated to deathstep - a dark, aggressive offshoot of dubstep. The playlist focuses on heavy bass pressure, distorted drops and cinematic atmosphere, with tracks that lean into extreme electronic sound design and a consistently intense tone. The style began forming around 2007-2008 with early experiments by Substep Infrabass, later pushed further by artists like Bratkilla. By the early 2010s, the sound became heavier and more defined, attracting producers across the scene. Labels like Plague Born helped shape its direction, while artists such as Code Pandorum expanded it with orchestral and dark ambient elements. Over time, the genre branched into related forms, but the core remains rooted in brutal bass and dark energy.
