Station information
In the 1980s, dance music became brighter, more electronic and strongly connected to radio. 80s Dance FM focuses on that period, broadcasting in English and playing dance-driven tracks that defined club and pop culture of the decade. The station’s playlist brings together well-known 80s dance hits, synth-based pop and early club tracks built around drum machines and catchy melodies. This sound shaped the transition from disco to modern electronic dance music and remains a clear reference point for how mainstream dance music began to form.
