RockHits 92.3 is a Charlottesville, Virginia rock station built around a mix of rock, alternative, punk and heavy metal. We keep the playlist focused on guitars and strong songs, with live local music and specialty shows adding a bit more character to the day. The station also streams online 24/7, so you can listen wherever you are. One thing we’re especially proud of is our local music focus. “Live & Local” features artists from the Charlottesville area, while “Search & Destroy” digs into punk rock and “Heavy Metal DOUBLE-TAP” gives metal two heavy hours on Sunday nights. There’s also “Nineties at Nine” on weekday mornings, plus Jump Start with Eric Law. In 2026, RockHits 92.3 is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
